The Alchemist (Wine) by Amy Leese
Hailing from Singapore, Amy comes with more than 18 years of experience in the wine trade. Her career in wines took off when she was a finalist in the World Gourmet Summit Sommelier of the Year category 2005. She later also participated in an International course of Piedmontese wines by the University of Gastronomic Science in 2010.
Fuelled by her desire to make her favourite topics- wine and cheese, simple to understand and available for all, she plunged wholeheartedly into her restaurant Incontro Restaurant and Bar in 2009 at the Robertson Quay in SIngapore. More recently in 2013 Amy made the decision to move to Kuala Lumpur where she now works under the Sungei Wang Group where is is developing their F&B division.
Amy will share her insights and knowledge in all aspects of wine. From blind to vertical tastings, come and have some fun and explore. You may just discover your next favourite wine. The workshop is designed to be small and will be limited to a maximum of 10 people in order to ensure personal attention.
